About us

Hi, my name is Carrie. I am the founder and teacher of L&C Artistry, LLC. Our mission is to foster the love of art and creation through creative art events that bring friends, family, and the community together. Before I started this journey, I worked as a teacher for almost 20 years and tried to be the best mother to my beautiful daughter, Lily. Lily and I started painting and crafting when she was just 8 months old and through the years we have tried every project imaginable. One summer, Lily decided to start selling her art at weekend art stands in our front yard. I found myself wishing I could do this everyday and Lily did too. Lily, at 8 years old,  told me that I should quit teaching and be an artist so we could create art all the time together. And to be honest, I couldn’t have agreed more! I wanted to do something that would make my daughter proud and do something I would be able to do everyday that I loved. With my daughter believing in me, I took a leap of faith and decided to do just that. Lily and I created L&C Artistry to share our love of art and creation  with our community and with you! We want to help bring back the joy one gets sharing moments with friends and family. I’m so honored you have come to join our family of creators and hope you choose to continue to have fun with us!
